Nvidia-GLX
For: Mepis Linux 6 DVD / CD by: je.saist Nvidia-GLX, Nvidia's proprietary driver, offers high performance 3D acceleration for *nix users. However, as of recent driver versions, Nvidia has removed for support for Graphics accelerators Geforce 4 and previous versions. Currently, Geforce FX, Geforce 6, Geforce 7, Geforce 8, Geforce 6100, and Geforce 6150 graphics are supported under Nvidia-GLX. If you have a graphics card that is Riva TNT, TNT2, Geforce, Geforce2 , Geforce 3, Geforce 4, Nforce, Nforce 2, Nforce 3, and Nforce 4, you'll need to install nvidia-glx-legacy.
