Part 1 - Obtain  |  Part 2 - Install


We left off in part 1 having downloaded the Game Updater for CoH/CoV. Now to put it into Cedega and access our Caped Crusader Alter Ego's.


20: Since I have Firefox saving to my Desktop, CohUpdater.zip is there. If you save to another location like Documents or Downloads, navigate to your downloads folder.

Left Click on CohUpdater.zip





21: Ark should open up automatically.





23: Left Click on Extract (5th icon to the right)





24: Select your extraction point. I am going to use /home/(username)/CoH/





25: Left Click on OK when you have your extraction point entered.

Then close out of Ark





26: Lets open up the Kmenu





27: Go to the Games





28: Left Click on TransGaming Cedega





29: Currently blank. Lets get at least one game in here.





30: Left Click on Install





31: We'll get very familiar with this box.





32: Under Game Folder enter in the folder you want City of Heroes to be saved in for Cedega.

I am using CoH





33: Next, Left Click on Browse





34: We should be taken to our /home folder.





35: Go to the folder where the CohUpdater.exe file was extracted to.





36: Left Click on CohUpdater.exe

Left click on OK





37: Left Click on Continue.





38: After a few minutes you'll get the install screen below.





39: Left Click on Yes.





40: Get. Comfy. The entire game of 2.2gigs now needs to be downloaded.





41: When the game finishes downloaded, Left Click on Next.





42: And spend a long time getting to 50.  Somebody call a Fire Tank?




I need to go back to Part 1 and get the CohUpdater file again.
