The FrostWire .deb package does not appear to set a Kmenu entry. Forcing the menus to update did nothing either. The Frostwire in /usr/bin opens up a text file. So, yes. The command prompt. Hopefully we'll get a working solution to this later. 21: Go ahead and open up Terminal Program (Konsole) ![]() 23: Alright, here we are at the terminal. ![]() 24: Type in the command sh frostwire then hit enter on the keyboard. ![]() 25: FrostWire should now begin to open. ![]() 26: The First part of FrostWire's configuration is asking for language. Left Click on Next>> when ready. ![]() 27: Next up is a Generic Filler Screen Left Click on Next>> when ready. ![]() 28: Sharing the /Shared folder is a good idea. Not going to change this. Left Click on Next>> when ready with your share folder. ![]() 29: Choose your average connection speed. Left Click on Next>> when your speed is set. ![]() 30: FrostWire will now ask to scan the Hard Drive. ![]() 31: Since I don't actually intend on using this program, I'm going to hit No. Left Click on Next>> when you have decided to scan, or not to scan. ![]() 32: Left Click on Finish ![]() 33: Wait for FrostWire to load. ![]() 34: Done. ![]() 35: Installed FrostWire on another system and committed a reboot. As shown below, a FrostWire entry is now in the KMenu. Can't say I'm fond of Windows Style Reboots though. ![]() Missed something on obtaining FrostWire in Part 1?
