FrostWire Installation

For : Mepis Linux

By : je.saist

Part 1 - Obtain  |  Part 2 - Kpackage  |  Part 3 - Configure

As mentioned in Part 1 I haven't yet changed FireFox to download to another location. This is in an attempt to make sure that system behaves more or less the same as a brand new Install of Mepis Linux. If you have changed FireFox's download location, or you used Opera or Konqueror, go ahead and navigate to your download location.

10: Left Click on the FrostWire .deb package.

(the version number can change, so don't count on it being the same)

11: KPackage should open up.

12: Left Click on Install

13: Summary Screen, takes me back to the summer of '04.

Where is Brian Adams when I need him?

14: Left Click on Install (again)

15: Enter the /root password, then Left Click on OK

16: Wait for KPackage to complete.

17: RESULT=0now that is a good thing.

18: Left Click on Done

19: Close Kpackage.

20: Go ahead and close your browser if it was still open.

Go back to Part 1?

Onwards to Part 3 and the Configuration!
