Over Page 2 we covered adding the servers into the Apt-List through Synaptic and found w32codecs and libdvdcss2. Now it's time to complete the install. At the same time we are also grabbing hymn while we are at it.

51: Starting back with Hymn, Right Click for the Synaptic Context Menu.

Left Click on Mark for Installation

52: Left Click on Apply at the top of Synaptic.

53: There really is nothing to be concerned about on conflicts. Left Click on Apply.

54: Depending on the speed of your connection and computer, this could take a while.

While waiting, go ahead and Go back to Firefox.

55: I'm going to take the time while waiting on Synaptic to bookmark the site.

56: Go ahead and Close Firefox.

57: Synaptic should hopefully be done by now. Left Click on Close.

58: Go ahead and Close Synaptic out.

59: I've tossed a DVD into the drive. KDE has popped up recognizing it as a DVD Video Disc, however, it doesn't know what to do with it. We just need to close this screen out. Once a player like Kaffeine is installed, it should appear in the list of options on how to handle the DVD.

60: Left click on Do Nothing

61: Left Click on OK

62: Bring up the K-Menu and Left click on Multimedia

63: Left Click on More Applications

64: Left Click on Media Player (KMPlayer)

65: KMPlayer has come up really small. I'm going to go ahead and maximize KMPlayer.

66: There we go. Now I can see what I'm doing.

67: Left Click on Source at the top of KMPlayer.

68: Left Click on DVD

69: Left Click on Open DVD

70: It's starting. Enjoy the show.

I skipped something on that whole GPG thing, I'm still getting errors when I update in Synaptic. (part 1)

What programs do I need again?

I'd like to go back to the guides please.
