Mepis Network Assistant - Recover from Upgrade
For : Mepis Linux By : je.saist Everynow and then an update will be pushed out for Mepis Linux that updates the Mepis Assistants. Updates to the Mepis Network Assistant can result in a network adapter no longer being started at boot. This guide walks through turning the adapter back on. 1: Left Click on System ![]() 2: Mouse up to MEPIS and Left Click on MEPIS Network Assistant ![]() 3: Enter your /root password, then Left Click on OK. ![]() 4: We should now be at the General Tab. ![]() 5: Left Click on the Interfaces Tab. We can see that our Status is : Was not started. ![]() 6: Left Click in Start at Boot to set an X. ![]() 7: Left Click on Start/restart on Apply to set an X. ![]() 8: Left Click on OK. ![]() 9: Mepis will now warn that the configuration has been updated.
