Corrupted Flash Fix Kaffeine For : Mepis Linux 7 series by : je.saist Chances are if you use Youtube you'll find yourself using the FLV format to play the videos. Attempting to play back saved FLV content in Kaffeine can result in corrupted video. Such as this clip with a dog and Hippo dancing. Notice the yellow ghosting in the background?  Or this clip of Falco's Amedeas. The lines at the top and the discolor on the bottom?  If you have OpenGL accelerated drivers installed, therre is a simple fix. Open up the Xine Engine Parameters and head for the Video section Here we can see that Kaffeine has defaulted to Auto. for reference, auto is defaulting to the xv format  Simply open up the drop down box...  and select opengl  Left Click on Ok.
